Tour Day 1: Casablanca - Rabat - Chefchaouen

Sahara Unlimited organises family and culture tour from Casablanca. This is a private tour towards Merzouga desert , available every day. After breakfast you will lead to Rabat around 1h30 and start a visit of 2 hours of Hassan Mosque, a wonder of the medieval Moorish world with its great minaret left unfinished when its founder died in 1199 the Chellah necropolis and Oudaya Kasbah.

Afterwards, we’ll drive to Chefchaouen via the Rif Mountains, and Wazzan. We will be in Chefchaouen afternoon.

Tour Day 2: Chefchaouen- Meknes- Volubilis- Fes

Today, we’ll drive towards Volubilis, where we will discover the roman ruins and learn about the archaeological site of Moroccan history. After the visit of the ruins, we will shift our way to Meknes city, which is one of the four imperial cities in Morocco and its Medina which is a UNESCO world heritage site, there where we will stop for lunch and hang around the historical huge walls of the medina , Bab El Mansour and enjoy a visit of Moulay ismail’s shrine . Then drive directly to the city of Fes, where you will spend the night.

Tour Day 3: Fes sightseeing tour

After breakfast at 10.00 am, enjoy a full day sightseeing cultural tour of Fes with your local guide & professional driver discovering monuments that have thousands of stories to tell visitors. First, we’ll start outside Fez medina & discover Jewish Quarter, Ibn Danan synagogue, Royal Palace gate, Janan Sabil Garden, Bab Boujloud, Borj Nord, and View panoramic of fez & Ceramic school. Following lunch, we’ll discover Jemaa Karaouyine (the first university to be established in the world), Mederssa Bounania, Najjarine fountain, Attarine Madrasa, tanneries, and Moulay Idriss Mausoleum. Tour Day 4: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz valley-Merzouga

From Fez, we’ll drive by the Atlas Mountains to Ifrane “Morocco’s Switzerland” with a charming European style house (enjoy a break to capture photos at landmark stone lion that sits on a big patch of grass). Then, Move to cedar forest where you’ll interact with monkeys so up close and feed them. Break for lunch in Midelt at a local Restaurant. After that, we will stop to discover the ziz valley & continue to Merzouga. Overnight in hotel with dinner.

Tour Day 5: Morocco Sahara Desert excursion

You will discover Khamlia village, whose people are originated from Mali and Sudan. In the first place, you will experience their way of life and listen to their unique music known as “Gnawa”.
