After pickup from Marrakech, transfer to the mountain village of Imlil. Begin your trek through the Mizane Valley, passing Berber villages and the shrine of Sidi Chamharouch.
After lunch, continue along mule trails ascending toward the Toubkal Refuge (3207m) for overnight stay.
Walking time: approx. 6 hours.
Early morning ascent to Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa. The route climbs through dramatic alpine landscapes offering breathtaking panoramic views from the summit.
Descend back to the refuge for lunch before returning to Imlil for overnight stay in a traditional riad with dinner.
Travel across the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260m) through the High Atlas Mountains. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou, famous as a filming location for movies such as Gladiator and The Mummy.
Continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa,” and visit Taourirt Kasbah. Drive along the famous Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing Kalaat Mgouna, the Valley of Roses, before arriving at Dades Gorges for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, travel through Tinghir toward the dramatic Todra Gorges, where canyon walls rise nearly 300 meters high.
Continue via Erfoud and visit a fossil workshop before arriving in Merzouga. Begin your camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi at sunset.
